A Certain Rhythm explores the natural ways in which we move through the world — the colours, forms, movements and feelings we are instinctively drawn to, often without knowing why.

The collection emerged from a period of letting go of control and allowing intuition to take a stronger role in my practice. Colours became bolder, gestures freer and compositions more expressive. Rather than questioning each decision, I began to trust what felt natural.

At its core, the collection reflects on individuality and the parts of ourselves we often learn to soften, adjust or hold back. There is a certain rhythm within each of us — a way of being that does not need to be explained or justified.

Through layered surfaces, mineral textures and intuitive gestures, the works give space to that rhythm. Earthy tones meet unexpected colour, quiet moments sit beside bold marks, and imperfections are allowed to remain visible.

A Certain Rhythm is a celebration of expression in its most honest form — of what happens when we stop trying to fit and begin to follow what already feels like our own.
